Rami is an award-winning editor shaping complex narratives across film, television, commercials, and music videos. An avid traveler available to work anywhere, his affable personality and creative energy make him an ideal collaborator for directors and brands looking to tell memorable stories. He joined the global roster at Cabin in 2022, and has since won in the Best Editing category at AICP and Editor of the Year at the Shots Awards Americas.
Rami recently edited two powerful short brand films – “Shout” for telecom brand Movistar (dir: Vellas) and “The Glitch” for Germany’s Alzheimer Forschung Initiative (dir: Pedro Giomi) – which together racked up over 140 awards worldwide including multiple Grand Prix. Other major projects include campaigns for Nike, Pinterest, Corona, Lexus, Kia, Jeep, Budweiser, and Ubisoft. In 2024, Rami made his first foray into episodic television with his work on Season 2 of the Netflix series “Criminal Code,” allowing him to build new skills in longform storytelling and character development.
Rami began his career as a freelance editor in his native Brazil before making a name for himself internationally. His work has consistently earned top honors including from Cannes Lions, Ciclope, the Clios, the ANDY Awards, D&AD, LIA, The One Show, ADC, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, Creative Club of São Paulo, and Profissionais do Ano; he was also named Best Editor by the Whext Awards three times. In addition to his commercial work, Rami is also the entrepreneur behind the award-winning spirit AT FIVE GIN.
